The standard Peanut Butter Blossom cookie has been a favorite Christmas cookie of mine since I was a kid. There are so many delicious variations using chocolate Kisses now! Here are a bunch of chocolate Kiss cookies that I can’t wait to try.
Best Hershey Kiss Cookie Recipes
You’d better start early with your holiday baking so you can squeeze in time to make all of these delicious cookies!
I’ve included several Hershey Kiss cookies without peanut butter, a variety of Kiss types (because they make so many good ones now!), and a many more.
Hershey Kiss Cookies
A couple of tips: Anytime you are using a white chocolate Kiss, or one with a gooey center like caramel that is likely to melt into a puddle on your cookie, freeze the Kisses before putting them on your hot cookie so they keep their Kiss shape.
If you want them to melt, no need to freeze them.
Can You Freeze Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies?
Speaking of freezing, we’ve been making Peanut Butter Blossoms for years and they do freeze well. Keep them stored in a single layer with wax paper between layers, and in an air tight container.
We just remove a few at a time, as many as we are going to eat.
Do not toss them all in a bag and throw the bag in the freezer or they will freeze to each other.
Stored in an airtight container on the counter, they stay fresh for about 3 days, so I highly recommend freezing them if you are going to make them in advance for a cookie exchange or to enjoy throughout the holiday season.
